Mosquito spraying set for Wednesday night in 7 Warren County towns

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – The Warren County Mosquito Commission has announced that it will be spraying against mosquitoes Saturday night, weather permitting, in parts of Franklin Township, Phillipsburg, Knowlton Township, Hope Township, Blairstown Township, Hardwick Township, and White Township.

The mosquito spraying will go on from 7:30 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. on August 30 with an alternate date of Thursday, August 31, the commission said.

The following areas are scheduled to be treated:

  • Franklin: NJ Route 57, Thatcher Ave., Edison Rd., 2nd St., Bridge St., 3rd St., Franklin St., Millbrook Rd., Mueller Ln., Skinner Ct., Olde St., New St., Audrey Ln., and Pohatcong Creek Trailer Park.
  • Phillipsburg: Hudson St., Warren St., Irwin St., Miller St., Firth St., Marshall St., Wilson St., Henderson St., Filmore St., Bohway Ave., Mary St., Davis St., Railroad Ave., Heckman St., and St. Phillips & St. James Cemetery.
  • Knowlton: Mt Pleasant Rd
  • Hope: Delaware Rd., (CR 609).
  • Blairstown: Cedarville Rd.
  • Hardwick: Stillwater Rd.
  • White: Pequest Dr.
