Motorcyclist charged with DWI after crash with deer in Sussex County

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A motorcyclist that crashed into a deer in Byram Township was under the influence, according to police.

The crash happened on Oct. 13, at 10:45 p.m., on Roseville Road, police said.

When the officers arrived, they spoke to the driver, identified as Adam C. Ralli, 32, of Newton, who alleged appeared to be intoxicated, police said.

Ralli performed several field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was arrested and transported to the police station where he consented to and failed two breath tests, police said.

Ralli was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving and reckless driving. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
