
Motorcyclist dies from injuries after crash in Morris County
RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash Sunday in Randolph Township, according to police.
On June 18, at around 5:45 pm, police responded to South Road for a report of a motorcycle that ran off the roadway and crashed, police said.
The lone rider, identified as Dennis M. Connelly, 74, of Randolph Township, suffered traumatic injuries and was treated at the scene by members of the Randolph Police Department and Randolph Rescue Squad, before being transported to Morristown Medical Center, police said.
Connelly later succumbed to his injuries he suffered in the crash, police said.
The crash is being investigated by the Randolph Police Department Traffic Safety Unit and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office – Crime Scene Investigative unit.
