Motorcyclist injured after crash with deer in Hunterdon County

TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) –  A motorcyclist was injured after a crash with a deer Friday afternoon, police said.

It happened at 3:35 p.m. on Beacon Light Road in the area of Terrill Drive in Tewksbury Township, police said.

According to police, the motorcycle, driven by a 52-year-old Califon man, was travelling east on Beacon Light Road when the motorcycle struck a deer.

The motorcyclist suffered neck pain and a laceration to the arm and was transported by ambulance to Morristown Medical Center.
