Mount Arlington resident interning at Morris County communication agency

WHIPPANY, NJ (Morris County) – Mount Arlington Borough resident Justin Picciuto recently began a summer internship at SCG Advertising + Public Relations, a Whippany based, full-service PR and advertising firm.

Having completed his associate’s degree in Communication at the County College of Morris, Picciuto will attend Montclair State University in the fall to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies.

The Roxbury High School graduate is focused on projects that include artificial intelligence applications, enhancing digital databases, developing social media content, and drafting press releases.

“Participating in this hands-on internship is providing me an entirely new perspective,” said Picciuto, who was recently inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success. “It’s amazing how real-world experience can amplify and clarify what you learn in the classroom.”

Since January 2003, more than 200 college students from approximately 50 different universities and colleges have participated in SCG’s public relations internship program. These students have  earned significant professional experience and, in many cases, college credit as well.
