MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The Mount Olive Area Chamber, Kiwanis Club of Mount Olive and the Mount Olive Economic Development Committee teamed up for the 25th annual holiday food drive to help feed area families.
“Even though the staffing was reduced by over two-thirds, they still donated a large quantity of non-perishable items including canned or boxed, non-perishable foods, such as pasta, rice, cereals, sauces, dog and cat food and Gift Cards from: ShopRite, Weis, Walmart and Visa,” Chair of the Mount Olive Business Holiday Food Drive Gregory W. Stewart said.
This year participating firms included: Givaudan, Robertet, Siemens, Coherent, Veolia, Nisivoccia, CBRE Real-estate, and the many retail and small-business firms located in the ITC and throughout Mount Olive, Stewart said.
Stewart, who has been the chair for the past 10 years, said “I would like to thank and recognize this year’s volunteers; Jeff Stadelman, Billy Lockwood, Richard Moore, Brian Ropp, John Mooney, Yaritaz Miranda, Chuck Aaron, Claudia Ehrgott, and Susan Morse.”
