Mount Olive HS teacher charged with stalking and harassing a student

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Mount Olive High School teacher has been charged with allegedly stalking and harassing a student, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp.

Tajinder Tung, 47, from Stewartsville was charged with fourth-degree stalking, and harassment, Knapp said.

The investigation disclosed that between 2017 and May 2019, Tung allegedly had stalked a student and committed acts that constituted a course of alarming conduct, both inside and outside of the school, Knapp said.

According to the Mount Olive High School website, Tung is a math teacher.

Tung was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing in Superior Court, to be scheduled, Knapp said.
