National EMS Memorial Bike Ride makes stop at Hackettstown Medical Center

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – On Tuesday, May 14, the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride stopped at Atlantic Health System’s Hackettstown Medical Center during their East Coast route which started in Boston and ended in Washington D.C.

About 100 attendees, which included 50 plus bike riders and 40 support personnel, stopped at the hospital for a brief welcoming ceremony and much needed break.

Hackettstown Medical Center also prepared boxed lunches for the cyclists.

“We are grateful to serve as way point along the Boston to Washington DC leg of the 2024 National EMS Memorial Bike Ride, an event dedicated to honoring our first responders,” said Dave Ferguson, Executive Director, Atlantic Mobile Health. “Today, we come together to pay tribute to those who selflessly serve our communities, each and every day. This event is not just about a bike ride; it’s about recognizing and appreciating the extraordinary individuals who put their lives on the line for us.”
