National Homeowners Day is coming: New Jersey is one of the worst states for millennials to own a house

NEW JERSEY – National Homeowner’s Day is celebrated every December 26 and a study conducted by education research firm and scholarship website engine Scholaroo has released the best and worst states for millennials to own a house.

According to the Best and Worst States for Millennials Report, the best state for homeownership is Wyoming, with New Jersey ranking #42, as evidenced by one of the lowest percentages of millennials who own a house.

Here is the national ranking for homeownership rate (Best to worst ranked in descending order):
