New Jersey man sentenced on fraud charge
NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – An Ocean County man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to a fraud charge, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis Koch.
Ryan D. Slavico, 22, of Point Pleasant was sentenced before the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, Jr., J.S.C., on April 16, Koch said.
Slavico was sentenced to three years probation and a 157 days time served. He was ordered to pay fines and fees totaling $155.00, Koch said.
On March 7, 2019, Slavico attempted to purchase goods from the Verizon store in Franklin with a fraudulent credit card, Koch said.
Slavico pled guilty on March 2, 2020, to third-degree fraudulent use of a credit card, Koch said.
