Newton police looking to identify person wanted for questioning in school bus theft

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – Newton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person wanted for questioning regarding a school bus theft.

Police want to speak with the individual in reference to an investigation regarding the theft of a school bus that occurred on March 29, 2021, police said.

The school bus has since been recovered, police said.

Anyone who knows the identity of this individual is asked to call the Newton Police Department at 973-383-2525. You can remain anonymous.
