NJ-bound detour to begin Jan. 30 at New Hope-Lambertville Bridge

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ (Hunterdon County) – An eight-month detour of New Jersey-bound vehicular traffic to go into effect Tuesday, Jan. 30 at the New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge.

The bridge, which directly links the commercial centers of New Hope and Lambertville, will then undergo a 10-month-long rehabilitation project that includes repairs, repainting, and the installation of a programmable color-changing LED architectural lighting system.

The bridge will remain open to Pennsylvania-bound traffic and pedestrian crossings.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead for the NJ-bound traffic detour, which will be via Route 202 northbound across the nearby New Hope-Lambertville Toll Bridge.
