
NJ State Police arrest 2, seize $150 worth of heroin during traffic stop in Sussex County
LAFAYETTE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – New Jersey State Police have arrested two men and seized $150 worth of heroin during a traffic stop in Lafayette Township.
On Sunday, Sept. 7, at 11:46 p.m., Trooper Anthony Pall stopped William for a traffic violation northbound on Route 15 at milepost 19.5 in Lafayette Township, state police said.
During the stop, Tpr. Pall determined that Junius William, 24, of Carbondale, PA was allegedly under the influence and arrested him for driving while intoxicated. After further investigation, Tpr. Pall found William and his passenger, Michael Morgan, 24, of Beach Lake, PA, were allegedly in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, state police said.
William and Morgan were each charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia. William was also charged with DWI.
Both were released pending a court appearance.
