
NJ State Police seek public’s assistance with identifying suspect wanted for check fraud, identity theft in Hunterdon County
EAST AMWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect who allegedly attempted to cash fraudulent checks at a bank in Hunterdon County.
On November 12, 2021, the female suspect entered the Northfield Bank in East Amwell Township and attempted to cash a fraudulent check while posing as a nurse. The suspect fled the bank in a tan Chevrolet Tahoe with front passenger side damage and appeared to have a New York state license plate, state police said.
The suspect is described as a female, with shoulder length, curly, dark hair, wearing navy colored scrubs, and white sneakers, state police said.
