No injuries after car strikes pole in Sussex County

WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – No injuries were reported after a car struck a utility pole in Sussex County Friday night, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Charles Marchan.

The crash occurred on May 9 at around 10:25 p.m. on Route 23 southbound in Wantage Township, Marchan said.

Based on a preliminary investigation, a vehicle was traveling on Route 23 when it lost directional control and struck a pole. No injuries were reported, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was available, Marchan added.
