No injuries after tractor-trailer fire on Route 46 in Warren County

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – No injuries were reported after a tractor-trailer caught fire Friday morning on Route 46 in Warren County, according to New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota.

The fire broke out at around 12:59 a.m. on Route 46 westbound at the Interstate 80 eastbound entrance in Knowlton Township, Slota said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer, driven by a 21-year-old man from Laurel, MS, was traveling westbound on Route 46 when the trailer experienced a malfunction and began to catch fire, Slota said.

No injuries were reported, Slota said.
