No injuries after tractor-trailer overturns on I-80 in Morris County

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – No injuries were reported after a tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 80 Friday morning, according to New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota.

The crash happened at around 2:36 a.m. on Interstate 80 eastbound at milepost 25.2 in Mount Olive Township, Slota said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer hauling miscellaneous items was traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 when the truck lost control, struck the guardrail and overturned, Slota said.

No injuries were reported on scene and the crash remains under investigation, Slota said.
