No injuries reported after apartment fire in Mount Olive Township

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – No injuries were reported after an apartment fire in Mount Olive Township on Monday morning.

The fire was reported at around 5:32 a.m. at the Village Green apartments, located in the Budd Lake section of the township, authorities said.

“Ironically this was the same apartment we responded to a fire last year,” according to the Byram Township Fire Department.

Crews worked on opening walls and ceilings to ensure the spread of the fire was contained to the apartment of origin, officials said.

No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation, authorities said.
