No injuries reported after garage fire in Mount Olive Township

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – There were no injuries after a garage fire Wednesday in Mount Olive Township, according to a post on the Budd Lake Fire Department’s Facebook page.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m., Budd Lake Fire Department was dispatched to a residence eon Crease Road for a report of smoke coming from a garage.

Fire chief arrived on scene and observed smoke coming from the garage. An engine arrived on scene and stretched a houseline to the garage, authorities said.

Flanders tower and engine also arrived and went to the second floor to check for extension, the post siad.

A second-alarm was requested bringing mutual aid in for station coverage and rapid intervention crews at the scene, authorities said.

The fire was brought under control within a half hour and there were no injuries, the post said.
