No injuries reported after tractor-trailer overturns on I-78 in Hunterdon County

UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – No injuries were reported after a tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County on Wednesday morning, New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry said.

The crash occurred at 1:44 a.m. on Interstate 78 eastbound at milepost 14 in Union Township, Curry said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Freightliner was ran off the road to the left into the center median and overturned partially blocking the left lane, Curry said.

All lanes have reopened.
