No injuries reported in Sussex County house fire

GREEN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – No one was injured in a Sunday morning house fire in Sussex County.

The fire was reported at around 4:38 a.m. at a residence on Yellow Frame Road in Green Township.

Green Township Fire Department and Fredon Volunteer Fire Company arrived on scene and confirmed a working structure fire. Byram Township Fire Department also responded to the scene.

Crews stretched lines, one to the exterior and the other to the second floor. The fire was quickly knocked down, and an extensive overhaul was performed, officials said.

No injuries were reported and the fire remains under investigation by the Sussex County Fire Marshals office.
