No serious injuries after landscaping truck overturns on I-80 in Morris County, state police say

ROCKAWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – No serious injuries were reported after a landscaping truck overturned on Interstate 80 in Morris County Saturday afternoon, according to New Jersey State Police Sergeant Alejandro Goez.

The crash happened at 2:19 p.m. on Interstate 80 at milepost 35.6 in Rockaway Township, Goez said.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford F-550 landscaping truck had a tire malfunction and the driver lost control. The truck then went off the road, struck the guardrail and overturned, Goez said.

The scene was cleared at about 4:30 p.m. and the crash remains under investigation, Goez said.
