NY man charged with DWI after minor crash at Island Dragway, police say

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A New York man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a minor crash at Island Dragway in Independence Township last month.

On Oct. 17, police responded to Island Dragway, located at 20 Island Road, for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident with a possible intoxicated driver, police said.

Mario Casiano, 41, of Bay Shore performed a series of field sobriety tests and police determined that he was allegedly intoxicated, police said.

Casiano was charged with driving while Intoxicated and released to a responsible person, police said.
