NY man injured in dirt bike crash in Chester

CHESTER, NJ (Morris County) – A New York man was injured after crashing his dirt bike Saturday night, according to Chester Police Chief Thomas Williver.

The crash happened at 6:35 p.m. in a field behind a Howell Drive residence, Williver said.

John Mancision, 29, of Yonkers was operating a dirt bike when he reportedly lost control crashing to the ground, Williver said.

Mancision suffered a large laceration to his left thigh and was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, Williver said. 

The Chester First Aid Squad, Chester Fire Department, Paramedics, and NJSP Medevac assisted at the scene.
