Off-Peak closure of I-78 westbound express E-ZPass lanes scheduled for Nov. 15

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – I-78 westbound motorists using the I-78 Toll Bridge for travel into Pennsylvania could encounter travel delays and backups 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The bridge’s two Express E-ZPass toll-collection lanes are scheduled to be closed for repair and maintenance work on overhead toll readers and cameras, the commission said.

All motorists will be required to use the adjoining five-lane barrier toll plaza. All lanes, including manned cash lanes, are equipped to handle low-speed E-ZPass transactions, the commission said.

“Travel delays should be minor to moderate because traffic volumes are low during the Express E-ZPass facility’s closure period,” the commission said.
