
One person flown to hospital after skydiving accident in Sussex County
WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – One person was flown to the hospital after some kind of skydiving accident Thursday afternoon in Wantage Township, according to New Jersey State Police SPokesperson Trooper Charles Marchan.
Troopers responded at 1:03 p.m. to Skydive Sussex, located at 55 County Route 639, for a medical assist, Marchan said.
The skydiver suffered injuries and was flown to Morristown Medical Center. Their injuries and condition was not available. The name of the person was not released.
The incident remains under investigation and no other information was immediately available.
