ONLY A DRILL: First responders to hold training exercise on Saturday at Phillipsburg High School

The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, the Warren County Police Chief’s Association, the Phillipsburg Board of Education, the Warren County Office of Emergency Management, the New Jersey State Police, the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Protection, and the United States Department of Homeland Security will be conducting an active shooter and a mass casualty, full-scale exercise on Saturday, June 29.

Emergency responders will first assemble at Phillipsburg Middle School, located 200 Hillcrest Boulevard, at 8:00 a.m. for a pre-operational briefing and safety check. They will then proceed to Phillipsburg High School, located at 1 Stateliner Boulevard, to start the exercise.

The drill will run from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A large police and emergency service personnel presence will be at both locations throughout the day.
