Passaic County man pleads guilty to burglary charges

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Passaic County man has entered a guilty plea to burglary charges, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis Koch.

Jose Malave, 40, of Haledon pled guilty to third-degree burglary and third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary before the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on Sept. 9, Koch said.

Malave allegedly admitted to conspiring with another person to burglarize a residence on Feb. 7 in Sparta Township, Koch said.

Sentencing is presently anticipated for October 25, 2019.
