Pequannock police investigating string of car break-ins, stolen car
PEQUANNOCK TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Pequannock police are reminding residents to lock their cars after a string of vehicle break-ins and a car was stolen.
Several cars were burglarized and a car was stolen in the area of Prospect Avenue between Thursday night, March 4 and Friday morning, March 5, police said.
“We once again ask residents to remove their keys/key fobs and valuables from their cars and lock the doors. This has been an ongoing problem in the township and in almost all cases the cars were left unlocked and keys/key fobs were left in the cars when they have been stolen,” police said.
Anyone with information should contact the Pequannock Police Department at 973-835-1700.
