Pequannock police investigating string of car break-ins, stolen car

PEQUANNOCK TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The Pequannock Police Department is investigating a series of burglaries to unlocked vehicles and a stolen vehicle, police said.

The incidents occurred that occurred Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in the area of Winding Way and Greendale Avenue.

Police urge residents to lock your vehicles after removing valuables and keys from within to prevent future thefts.

Anyone with surveillance cameras is encouraged to check for any suspicious activity and email the videos to jjones@peqtwp.org. If anything is missing from your vehicle, contact the Pequannock Police Department at 973-835-1700.
