Person flown to hospital after serious single-vehicle crash in Hunterdon County

TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A person was flown to the hospital following a serious single-vehicle crash Thursday night in Hunterdon County, according to a post on the Tewksbury First Aid and Rescue Squad’s Facebook page.

The crash happened at around 9.07 p.m. on Cokesbury Road in Tewksbury Township, authorities said.

One person suffered serious trauma and had to be extricated from the vehicle. The person was transported to a nearby landing zone and was then flown to a trauma center, the post said.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.

The Lebanon Fire Company, the Tewksbury Township Police Department, paramedics from Hunterdon Mobile Intensive Care Unit EMS2, and flight paramedics from Atlantic Air Ambulance assisted at the scene.
