Phillipsburg and North Warren Regional High Schools win Freddy Awards

EASTON, PA (Northampton County) – Students across several high schools from the Lehigh Valley and Warren County were at The State Theatre Center for the Arts in Easton Thursday night for the 20th annual Freddy Awards.

The Freddy Awards are to recognize and reward exceptional accomplishments in the production and performance of musical theater in high schools in Lehigh and Northampton Counties, Pennsylvania, and Warren County, New Jersey.

Phillipsburg High School won 4 Freddy Awards and North Warren Regional High School received 3.

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
