Phillipsburg police seize 700 bags of heroin and 129 bags of crack cocaine, arrest 2

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ (Warren County) – Police seized 700 bags of heroin and 129 bags of crack cocaine following a traffic stop Tuesday in Phillipsburg.

On Feb. 16, Vincent Noel, 55, of Phillipsburg and Collen Coghlan, 33, of Washington were arrested on narcotics charges as a result of a traffic stop in Phillipsburg, Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer said.

The motor vehicle violations which lead to the stop included: failure to maintain lane, failure to wear seatbelts, and suspended driver’s license, Pfeiffer said.

A subsequent search revealed 129 bags of crack cocaine, approximately 700 bags of heroin, a quantity of suboxone, and drug paraphernalia, Pfeiffer said.
