Photos: Annual Oktoberfest in Hackettstown draws large crowds

Thousands of people attended the Oktoberfest held Sept. 24-26 in downtown Hackettstown.

The annual 3 day event is one of the premier events of the year which was sponsored by the Hackettstown Business Improvement District, Czig Meister Brewing Company (106 Valentine St), Man Skirt Brewing Company (144 Main St), and Bea McNally’s (109 Grand Ave).

The event offered kid’s activities, contests, craft vendors, music, drinks, food and more.

Due to predicted thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon, the Hackettstown Business Improvement District canceled the outdoor vendor market portion of Oktoberfest but Man Skirt, Czig Meister and Bea McNally’s, and other businesses still continued their festivities.

The Hackettstown Business improvement District encourages people to keep an eye on the organization’s website at hackettstownbid.com for more events planned throughout the year.
