Police attempting to locate 17-year-old Morris County girl

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The Morris Township Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with locating 17-year-old Laila Burton of Morris Township, police said.

Laila was last seen on Friday, June 18, at around 2:45 p.m., getting into a small grey hatchback vehicle on West Hanover Avenue. She was last seen wearing grey sweatpants and a light grey sweatshirt, police said.

“There are no suspicious circumstances as Laila appeared to get into the vehicle on her own accord,” police said.

Possible destinations are Morristown, Newark, East Hanover and Emerson, NJ, police said.
