Police continue to search for runaway Morris County teen

WASHIGNTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Washington Township police on Friday said they were still searching for a runaway teen.

Amanda, 16, is missing from a group home located in the Fairmount/West Valley Brook section of the township. She was last seen Thursday at around 9:45 a.m., police said.

She is believed to be wearing a white tee shirt and gray sweat pants, police said. No further description or a photo of Amanda were released.

She is a repeated runaway and that ongoing situation is being addressed through the home, police said.

“We are aware of her destination and that law enforcement agency was notified immediately. Her parents are also involved in the investigation,” police said.
