Police investigating three car burglaries in Vernon Township

VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Police are investigating three car burglaries that happened early Friday morning in Vernon Township.

The car burglaries occurred in the in the early morning hours on January 22, police said.

The first car burglary occurred on Telfer Drive in the Glenwood Estates section, the second occurred on Eric Trail in the Old Orchard section and the third occurred on Comanchee Trail in the High Ridge section, police said.

Police are asking anyone in those areas to check their vehicles and their home video surveillance system for suspicious people or vehicles. If you are the victim of a car burglary, you’re asked to report it to the Vernon Police at 973-764-6155.
