Police investigating tire thefts from a Hackettstown garage (VIDEO)

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Hackettstown Police are currently investigating the theft of tires from Motor City Garage, located at 115 East Plane St, police said.

The thefts occurred on Sunday, May 19 at around 6:40 a.m. and on Sunday, June 10 between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. A total of 34 tires were stolen with an approximate value of $1,400.00, police said.

The vehicle is described as a white van with unknown registration, police said.

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Hackettstown Detective Bureau at 908-852-3302, 908-852-3300 or send an anonymous tip by texting 888-777 and in the message part you must first type “TIP HACKPD” then type your tip.
