Police: Mansfield Twp man grabbed, slapped Walmart employee

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Police say a Mansfield Township man has been charged after he allegedly grabbed and slapped an employee of Walmart.

On May 4, at 1:49 p.m., a township officer was at Walmart investigating an incident when he heard a commotion in the vestibule area of the entrance, police said.

The officer observed an employee and another male, who was later identified as Harrell Bier, 69, yelling at each other, police said.

The officer separated them and determined the employee had asked Bier not to block the entrance. Bier then allegedly advanced on the employee pushing him backwards into the shopping carts. Bier then allegedly grabbed the employee by his collar and slapped him across the face, police said.
