Police need help identifying person of interest after residential burglary in Morris Plains

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ (Morris County) – Morris Plains Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest after a residential burglary.

The burglary occurred at a residence on Littleton Road (Route 202) near Greenwood Road on Oct. 26 between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. No one was home at the time of the burglary, police said.

Police said it appeared that forced entry was made at the backdoor and the bedrooms were ransacked. The homeowner estimates the value of stolen items over $20,000.

The man was caught on a Ring doorbell approaching the residents front door at around 6:45 p.m. You can see that footage here.
