Police rescue dog from storm drain in Hunterdon County
RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Two police officers rescued a dog Monday that had fallen into a storm drain in Raritan Township.
On October 11, Officers Anthony Moreno and Connor Gallagher responded to Carriage Gate Drive for dog that had fallen into a storm drain.
The officers were able to remove the cover, which allowed Officer Gallagher to climb down into the storm drain.
“He quickly emerged with Cody who was uninjured, but definitely needed a bath,” police said.
Cody was then reunited with his owner.
