UPDATE: Police locate missing 10-year-old Oxford Twp. girl

UPDATE: The missing 10-year-old Oxford Township girl was found safe at around 10:00 p.m., police said.

Assisting Washington Township Police were the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, New Jersey State Police, New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit, Oxford Emergency Squad, Oxford Fire Department, Washington Rescue Squad and Washington Borough Fire Department, Washington Township Fire Department, Franklin Fire Department, Harmony Fire Department, Warren County Search & Rescue, Hackettstown Police K-9 and the Port Authority Police K-9 Unit.

Original Story: OXFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) — The Washington Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Oxford Township girl. 

According to radio reports, 10-year-old Angelina Simkanin left her residence on Route 31 at around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Angelina is described as a white female, 4-foot-tall, 60 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a light blue North Face jacket with a black stripe down the back, sweatpants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Washington Township Police Department at 908-689-1111.
