UPDATE: Missing 14-year-old Sussex County girl found safe

UPDATE:  Savannah Losey has been located safely, state police said.

HAMBURG BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit and the Hamburg Borough Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance with locating 14-year-old Savannah Losey of Hamburg, state police said.

Savannah was reported missing on Tuesday, March 16, at 2:19 a.m. and was last seen in the area of Governor Haines Street wearing black jeans and a black tee-shirt, state police said.

Savannah is described as a white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 175 pounds with red hair, brown eyes, and a scar on the back of her neck, state police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit at 609882-2000, ext. 2554 or Hamburg Borough Police Department at 973-827-6211. Anonymous tips are welcome.
