Police searching for Pequannock Twp. bank robbery suspect

PEQUANNOCK TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Police are searching for a suspect in a bank robbery Thursday morning, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp.

The robbery happened at around 10:43 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 523 Route 23, in Pequannock Township, Knapp said.

The investigation revealed that a man entered the bank branch and demanded money, Knapp said. 

Authorities described the robber as an older white man with a black beard, which is possibly fake, wearing dark colored pants, a dark colored hooded Adidas sweatshirt with white stripes on the arms, a dark colored ball cap, and glasses,Knapp said.
