UPDATE: Police find driver involved in hit-and-run crash in Hackettstown

UPDATE: The driver has been identified. No further information is available at this time, police said.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Hackettstown police say they are looking for the driver who allegedly hit a car and then fled the scene.

The crash happened on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at around 11:00 a.m., at the intersection of Route 46 and West Plane St, police said.

Police said an unidentified person driving the silver Hyundai Elantra struck a vehicle and fled the scene. The vehicle then traveled north on East Plane St and made a right onto Maple Ave, police said.

The Hyundai would have damage to the front driver’s side, police said.
