Police seeking person responsible for throwing 2 small dogs out of car to their death in Hunterdon County

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Readington Township Police are searching for the person responsible for throwing two small dogs out of the car and were then struck and killed by passing vehicles.

According to police, on Dec. 4, at 5:21 a.m., someone reported seeing a vehicle pull to the shoulder of Route 202 south near Railroad Ave and throw two small dogs out of the car and into the roadway.

Both dogs were struck by passing vehicles and killed. The dogs are estimated to be 20-40 pounds, mixed breed and tan/black in color, police said.
