UPDATE: Driver, vehicle involved in hit-and-run crash in Hackettstown has been identified

UPDATE: Police have identified the vehicle and driver suspected to be involved in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Hackettstown. No further information was released.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify the driver (and his vehicle) who fled the scene of a crash, police said.

The hit-and-run crash happened on Saturday, October 8, at around 2:15 p.m., in the Lowe’s Home Improvement parking lot, located at 217 Mountain Avenue, police said.

The vehicle appears to be a green 2004-2007 Ford F250, police said.

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Hackettstown Police Department at 908-852-3300 or send an anonymous tip by texting 888-777 and in the message part you must first type “TIP HACKPD” then type your tip.
