Police: Woman found with heroin, methamphetamine after shoplifting incident in Washington Borough
WASHINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County woman is facing a number of drug charges after police say she was caught stealing from the Jolly Smoke Shop in Washington Borough.
On October 2, at around 7:52 p.m., officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at Jolly Smoke Shop, located at 101 West Washington Avenue, police said.
Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, the 51-year-old of Phillipbsurg was arrested for shoplifting and was found to be in possession of heroin and methamphetamine, hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia, police said.
She was charged with shoplifting, possession of CDS and drug paraphernalia. She was then lodged in the Warren County Jail, police said.
