PossAbilities Thrift Boutique in Flemington is on the move

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) Abilities of Northwest Jersey Inc. has announced that its PossAbilities Thrift Boutique in Flemington is moving to the Hunterdon Shopping Center, 39A Reaville Avenue, in Flemington.

The new store will open its doors on Friday, March 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The grand opening celebration will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the official ribbon cutting scheduled for 12 noon.

“We’re quadrupling our capacity to allow for more merchandise, including more of the secondhand styles and home goods our regular customers love. Plus, we will be able to offer more furniture,” said Danielle Crouse, Area Manager for Abilities. “We’re currently accepting donations for the new store, although we are asking people not to dump or leave anything outside the facility.”

PossAbilities Thrift Boutiques provide numerous benefits to the community:

  • They offer a wide range of reasonably priced personal and household items, including men’s and women’s clothing, jewelry, household goods, home décor, and seasonal decorations.
  • They provide vocational training and employment for local residents with disabilities.
  • They’re also an outlet for volunteer opportunities.

“Of course, they also allow donors to recycle objects that they no longer want or need. If anyone is decluttering, reorganizing, or cleaning out, please consider donating new and gently used items to our PossAbilities Thrift Boutiques,” Crouse said.
