Randolph MVC Licensing Center closed after employee tests positive for COVID-19

NEW JERSEY – MVC Licensing Centers in Randolph Township and Edison are closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at each location, according to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.

The Randolph Licensing Center will reopen on Monday, February 1 and the Edison Licensing Center will reopen on Friday, January 29.

Reopening dates:

  • Newton Vehicle Center – Wednesday, Jan 20.
  • Medford Vehicle Center – Saturday, Jan 23.
  • Salem Licensing Center – Saturday, Jan 23.
  • North Bergen Licensing Center – Monday, Jan 25.
  • Lodi Licensing Center – Monday, Jan 25.

The Trenton Regional/Vehicle Center will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the direction of Governor Phil Murphy, in order to properly facilitate security measures within the City of Trenton and the State Capitol area.

Customers should log on to NJMVC.gov to check the status of locations, complete all available online transactions, schedule appointments, and learn more about MVC operations. Customers also can identify whether a license or vehicle transaction is available online, by appointment, or by walk-in using the “How do I…?” Cheat Sheet in the Quick Links on the MVC home page.
